A place of peace and faith

Women's program

On Wednesday mornings, the women gather. Coffee and tea are ready, and the morning begins with singing. In a peaceful setting, there is space for fellowship, conversation, and encouragement.

BIBLE STUDY

Each week, a Bible study is held on a different topic. This leads to open conversations about faith and one’s relationship with God, with space to ask questions and share personal experiences.

There are also regular creative mornings, offering relaxation and a welcome break from daily life. As a result, women grow in their relationship with God. They gain confidence, become more kind and patient, and take greater responsibility for their lives.

Women's Conference

Once a year, a women’s conference is organized. Centered around a theme, it features inspiring Bible studies and plenty of space for fellowship, conversation, and spiritual growth. Women from different villages participate, creating a beautiful mix of Romanian and Roma women. These encounters between women from different backgrounds make the conference especially meaningful. They learn from one another, share their experiences, and grow in understanding and respect. For many women, this is the only opportunity to step away from daily responsibilities at home and take time for themselves. It is a time when they feel loved and valued, and grow in their relationship with God.

Bible, singing and dancing

During the conference, there are Bible studies, singing, dancing, and theme meetings.

Meeting and creative workshops

There's time for meeting, socializing, and creative workshops. Everything is arranged so that the women are fully taken care of.

Magdalena's story...

Years ago, during the first women's conference, a church member asked if she could bring a friend. That friend was Magdalena. During the conference, Magdalena committed her life to Jesus.

Since then, she has been a faithful member of the congregation and her life has changed greatly. Magdalena shared that she was depressed and felt lost. She was smoking and felt unhappy. After choosing to give her life to Jesus, she stopped smoking. Her life didn't get easier right away. She still struggled with rejection and condemnation from other people. She also suddenly lost her husband, which made her feel lonely. Yet, she experienced that being alone is not the same as being lonely. It was during that period that her relationship with God grew.

Today, Magdalena knows who she is in Christ. She has learned to love herself, even when others reject her. Later, her relationship with her sister was also restored. A distance had grown between them, and Magdalena longed for reconciliation. During a women’s conference, she had the opportunity to ask her sister for forgiveness. At first, her sister rejected her words. But by the end of the conference, the two sisters embraced each other. In just four days, something changed in her heart. She came to the point where she could say, “I want to forgive my sister for everything”. In Magdalena’s life, transformation, healing, and change have become clearly visible. Today, she is an example to others. She helps other women understand how valuable and loved they are.
