Church Apa VieEvery Sunday there is a gathering at Church Apa Vie (Living Water) for prayer, bible study, and fellowship.
Church Apa Vie was founded in 2009 and has become a welcoming and active place of worship and community. What began as a small gathering in a rented space has developed into a permanent place of meeting, faith, and connection, with strong involvement from the Roma community. Today, the church has its own building: “Casa Agape” - House of Love.
The vision of Apa Vie is to create a place where people feel welcome and at home, where everyone can be themselves and experience freedom. A place with room for faith, connection, and personal attention.
Everyone is welcome in the church. Faith in God the Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit forms the basis, with the Word of God as the foundation. Love, connection, and serving one another stand central. The most important thing is not the number of visitors, but growing in faith, love, and community with Christ and with each other.
Story of Tete
In church, he's an inconspicuous and small man, so small they call him Gnome. We call him Tete, and he gave his life to the Lord several years ago. Before that, he was a raging alcoholic, often expressing anger and aggression. Now, he is a gentle and helpful presence, always supportive of other people.
He helps out at the church every week by welcoming people and is always ready to pitch in when help is needed—for example, shoveling snow or cleaning windows. He doesn’t have a regular job, but he works a few days a month for the local town hall in exchange for an allowance. He even left his part-time job as a lumberjack because he realized that illegal logging sometimes took place, and he no longer wanted to be part of it. Every day, he gets up in the middle of the night to collect deposit bottles on his bicycle, which he received from us. Last year, he collected so many bottles that he was able to renovate his home with the proceeds.
He also regularly tells us how strangers stop to give him money or food while he is out on his bike. Tete is the living testimony of how faith in God can transform a life.
The service begins with a time of fellowship over coffee and tea, followed by worship, prayer, and a message from the Bible.

Programs
The church is more than just Sunday services. Throughout the week, there are various activities for adults, children, and teenagers.
